Spring 2024 Registration

Dover Soccer Association Competitive Soccer (CLOSED), Wendy's Select Soccer, and Wendy's Little Kickers.

Select and Little Kickers registration has been extended to February 15.

Welcome to the Spring 2024 Dover Soccer Association Soccer.

Registration for competitive soccer closed, but your child can be put on the waiting list.

• Spring Soccer – 2024 – (Dover, Ohio)

• Registration is for the DSA Competitive, Wendy’s Select Soccer, and Wendy’s Little Kickers. (Kindergarten through sixth grade) 
• The Wendy’s Little Kickers (k-1st grade), Wendy’s Select soccer (1st grade – 6th grade) is open to everyone. Competitive soccer will only try-outs if there are open spots. Try-outs are for experienced players. If your child is interested in competitive soccer, they should be one of the better players on their select team. Contact John Loffredo if your child is interested in competitive soccer. They must register for select soccer to be eligible for competitive soccer. 
• Competitive practice will begin practicing in March. Games will start in April. Select soccer practice will begin in late March or early April. It depends on the weather. Games will start in mid-April for Wendy’s Select Soccer.

  • Registration ends February 3.
  • 2 practices per week. (8 games)
  • Season ends in early June. 
  • Ohio Travel Soccer League (3^rd boys, 3^rd girls, 4^th boys, 4^th girls, 5th girls, 5^th boys & 6^th boys) or Diamond Soccer League (6^th Grade girls) Diamond divides teams by grade levels. OHTSL divides by DOB.
  • Both leagues play their games on Sunday afternoons. OHTSL does have some games on other days.
  • Players should not register for competitive soccer if they cannot make it to most of the practices and all the games. Sometimes, there are conflicts from time to time. If they are in other activities that conflict with competitive soccer, they should play select soccer instead.
• Wendy’s Select Soccer – Practices will probably start in March depending on the weather and gym availability. Games start in early April (grades 2-6 – experienced 1st graders can also play Select) and the cost is $60. 
  • Registration ends on February 15.
  • Practices are twice a week. The coaches will let you know when practices will be. Games are Saturday mornings. U10 & U12 select may have two practices per week.
  • Boys and girls will play in the Tri County Soccer League and may play games against Navarre, Canton, Carrollton, Sandy Valley, and Bolivar. 4 home and 4 away
  • Experienced 1^st graders can join the 2^nd graders.
  • Girls will practice on Wednesdays and games on Saturday mornings. If there are not teams for girls to play against, they will have their age group play in Dover, only.
  • The league play in is a coed league. We are working to find some other girls’ team to play at this level. In the fall, our U8 and U10 girls had teams to play.
  • We need parent volunteers to help coach the teams.
  • U8 select = 1st and 2nd grade
  • U10 select = 3rd and 4th grade
  • U12 select = 5th and 6th grade
• Wendy’s Little Kickers will begin in early April. The cost is $45 is for kindergarten & first graders.
  • Registration ends February 15.
  • Saturday mornings only.
  • 30 minutes of fun skill related games. 30 minutes for a soccer game.
  • 4v4 with no goalies.
  • Rain outs will be made up on Wednesdays or Thursdays.
  • We need parent volunteers to help coach the teams.
  • We use MOJO sports app to create practice plans (vidoes to watch) for our coaches.

For Wendy's Little Kickers, Wendy's Select Soccer, and DSA Competitive Soccer, your child must live in Dover or attend Dover City Schools or TCCES. You may contact John Loffredo (doversoccer2011@gmail.com) if your child lives outside of Dover.

This registration session will allow you to complete contact information, sign up for participation, and submit payment. Please read through each page carefully to ensure that all information is provided accurately. To complete registration through our secure site, please have your Visa, MasterCard, Discover, cash, or checking account information available.  Following the completion of this registration, you will see a charge on your account from Dover Soccer Association.

Please note: If the season is cancelled due to Covid-19, the Dover Soccer Association will refund registration fee minus $3 processing fee that Demoshere charges the Dover Soccer Association.
